24th AMSIG

ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING

SYDNEY 2020

2-3 MAY

SMC Conference & Function Centre

ANNOUNCEMENT: 2020 AMSIG Sydney Meeting Has Been Postponed

UPDATE : 12 March 2020

Dear Delegate,
On behalf of the AMSIG President Dr Greg Cowderoy, AMSIG Executive and the 2020 Meeting Convenors, we must unfortunately announce the postponement of the 2020 AMSIG Meeting, scheduled for the 1-3 May 2020 at the SMC Conference and Function Centre, Sydney, Australia.

Following the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), travel restrictions are in place for several Government and private organisations within Australia and New Zealand as well as a number of countries. Two of our international speakers are no longer able to attend the meeting and to continue with our current format, is no longer possible.

Given the escalating situation with our speakers and the expected impact on delegate numbers, we are rescheduling the meeting today to prevent any further bookings and potential losses for our attendees. We are obviously disappointed, but we trust that you will understand that this decision has been made in the best interest of our delegates, speakers and industry.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our delegates, speakers and industry for their continued support of AMSIG and the Annual Meeting. Your understanding and patience is much appreciated and we look forward to seeing you in 2021 and at future conferences.

We are in discussions with our Sydney suppliers, international and local speakers about new dates for 2021 for the rescheduled meeting. We will be in touch as soon as this has been confirmed.

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact our Meeting Managers.

Kind regards

AMSIG Executive and 2020 Meeting Convenors

24th AMSIG ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING

2-3 MAY 2020

On behalf of the Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG) executive, we would like to invite you to join us at the 24th Annual Scientific Meeting to be held at the SMC Conference and Function Centre, in central Sydney, Australia on May 2/3 2020.

Our meeting is the principal event for musculoskeletal radiologists in the Oceania region. The coming year’s presentations will largely be on the topics of rheumatological imaging and tumour imaging. The focus on the meeting will be to try to address some of the problem cases which are experienced even in general radiology reporting on a variety of joint and tumour problems. We have invited experts in imaging, orthopaedic surgery, and rheumatology to encourage collaboration between specialties and ensure relevant contemporary radiology practice.
